Not that it is serious, but just for the heck of it:

"Fan edit" is what I use when I refer to a specific cut of a film. "FanEdit" is the name of the site. The latter is the only time I run the two words together.

I know you were all breathlessly waiting to learn how I would weigh in on this.

And now, back to photos of enraged cats.
 
I guess I like running them together with capitalization.

FanEdit. Sounds official.
