This was a great film.
Kind of like P.T. Anderson's There Will Be Blood meets recent classic westerns like Tombstone/Unforgiven
Slow paced, exquisite cinematography and a damned beautiful score.

I liked the film, and I agree that the cinematography was great, but I can remember feeling that it dragged in the middle. I don't have a problem with sitting through long slow-paced films, and some of my favourite films are almost four hours long, but I can remember wishing it would hurry up at times, and I wouldn't go so far as to say the overall film was great.

I only saw it once when it came out though, so it has been a while. Were you thinking of fanedting it?

no I wasnt but I agree that it could be tightened up for a faster narrative.
