wow, everything I always wanted from GI Joe as a kid.

This is what you remember but only, its not as campy and aimed at a more mature level. (snake eyes is SOOOO BADASSSSS!)
great animation, voice acting and overall story although it does feel a bit hurried and it definately helps if you remember the characters as there are no introductions. I hope this becomes a series as its a great reboot to the franchise and will most certainly be better than the upcoming live action film.

for GI Joe fans 8/10
for animation fans 7/10
for casuals 6/10

Thanks for the youtube clip. I heard about this a few months back but never really looked into it (despite being a Joe fan). Once I saw that clip and how well it was done (the movie should have been made in a similar fashion--come on you know it is going to be a teenage nonsense crapfest), I took a trip on over to LT. This is more along the lines of the comic book, which is a huge plus
