Fury Road:
Really cool edit. The ending drags a little editted this way, but the story overall works better. After all, this was a movie about the driver, not the blood bag. There were a few zoomed in / cropped shots that looked obvious, but that was mostly when people were standing around talking. The editing of the action was almost perfect, just the odd shot of Max's foot or leg while someone else was kicking ass. The ONLY thing I really missed was the fist fight between Max and the driver, it might be my favorite scene in the movie. But I can't dock a no-Max edit for not including a Max fight.
I wouldn't call this a replacement, but I don't think that was the goal anyway. I would recommend watching this to get the most out of the STORY of Fury Road with 90% of the action intact.
