I just watched this video on how the film got mangled by the studio.  I actually did like the final result, but even just watching the deleted scenes on the dvd, it seems like it could have been SO much better.  Anyone else want a Director's Cut?

 
I just came across an Extended Cut. I pulled my DVD out of the box and am decrypting it now. I have the BluRay as well, but I need to find someone to upscale the deleted scenes and alternate ending to 1080.
