Big Dave Kerin does it again, combining both of the 2003 Mecha-Godzilla duology to form one terrific headline event between machine and monsters. It was a joy revisiting these movies, as they were the most consistent and unique out of the out-of-continuity Godzilla movies of the time, in that they actually maintained a functioning continuity. The absence of certain elements such as a daughter and romance subplot goes completely unnoticed, here the focus is on the clash of giants. Man truly does learn from the mistakes of the past. A big hand to Kerin for his hard work in putting this edit together, I sincerely hope he finds more info on the Godzilla edit that inspired this turn of excellence.
