VFX Help Needed for Fan Film
#1
I was wondering whether I had anyone skilled in After Effects among my friends who can help me with this. After I couldn't really think of anyone, I realized, dude, there is a whole community of editors here, there could be someone who is that skilled who can help me. At least, I hope there is.

So what's this about? I directed a Legend of Zelda fan film based on A Link to the Past, and now I'm at the editing stage. Once I'm done with all the cuts, transitions, etc. there will be one huge thing to get through: Special Effects. Unfortunately, I know nothing about After Effects despite owning it. I have no skill nor do I have the time or patience to learn it all.

I need help from someone who is already skilled in After Effects, who is able to create magic effects, beams of light, etc. I can even add color correction to the list because I'm not the best color corrector either. Is anyone willing to help?

EDIT: I will open a new thread in the Fan Film category for more information about my movie.

I don't have the time to help with actual effects work, but I can tell you this one plugin has been extremely helpful on my edit, and if you have After Effects I think it's a must-have. It makes beams, lasers, light, fire, smoke, magic stuff, etc very easy to create and apply.
