I joined and I have no idea what I'm looking at.  What's the point of your Discord?
 
Well, it's the server of a YouTube channel called Hazardtime, a man who does daily Half-life 3 update videos

I didn't realize it was in the nav bar on the site! Haha.

That's why I asked for baby mode. I can be pretty thick.



... I'm in. And have posted my first message on discord. Thanks! For lurkers wanting to join who may wonder if I had to do anything else... No. It was easy, make an account, clicky clicky a few buttons, done. And you can open discord in a tab, don't even need the app if you don't want.

I've deactivated my Discord account. I don't think I like it, thanks anyway.

I tried discord for some time and all I can say is I really hate the way it works. Frustrating as hell.

It's definitely not my go to style of communication, but it's a decent active chat platform for the purposes I've learned how to use it for.
