Anyone know what could be causing this/any known solutions?

I have never had this problem before. Are you frameserving from somewhere? I would bet that is the problem (the editing app) and not so much TMPGEnc itself.

Frameserving from Womble...and I've never had this problem before either.

you checked through TMPEG's filter set to see if anything has accidentily got turned on?

Doesn't appear that way.

thats a bit of a weird one then :-?

how about using a darkening filter to even it out? i know thats a crappy way of fixing the problem but cant think of anything else right now.

Crappy, yes, but by God it's working :-?

i dont understand how to make picture like original not the brighter one, can you explaine me in tmpeg program where to look and where to find that darkening filter

TMPEGEnc Xpress 4 was doing the same with me when doing the Alien 3 workprint clips for my deleted scenes feature, i could never figure it out either and at one point the clips were so bright i couldnt use them.

This happens all the time with me as well. I find that dialing down the brigntness to -31 brings it back to normal.
