Avengers: Endgame

"Part of the journey is the end."

With the trailer finally out and the title being revealed to us, let's start the discussion on AVENGERS: ENDGAME.

The trailer looks good, Hawkeye is back, Tony and Steve look broken after Infinity War, and I can't wait to see Thanos. For now we don't have many details to go on, but the main feeling I get is that this is well...the endgame. This is their final chance and I'm sure that this might be the end for some of the Earth's mightiest heroes. It'll be released in April, and I can't wait. What say you guys?

Dang it. You posted your thread literally 4 minutes before I posted mine, while I was writing my thoughts. Anyways, threads merged! :)

Lol!  I was just coming back to fix my Stark quote.

I had just written a whole long thing about how emotional it'll be to say goodbye to some of these characters and I lost it all after clicking the wrong button.   :dodgy:

To sum it up, I never liked Captain America until Chris Evans came around in an awesome origin movie.  Knowing this is his final time playing Cap hurts and it'll be super emotional to watch him bow out.  We've all been on an amazing journey from Iron Man to here and as anxious as I am for this grand finale, I know not everyone will have a happy ending.  We've grown with these characters and in some ways we have grown to love a lot of these characters.  I guess we are at the end of this journey and on our way to the start of a new one.

This trailer got me excited, but now I'm sad.

So, the title isn't Avengers: Annihilation after all...
[/quote]

Well, it does build off of what I think Doctor Strange said about being in the endgame.

Notice how the dust comes together to make the Avengers logo before the title forms.

I get it, musiced921.

No, but that would be a GREAT fan edit title!!!  :D

Potential spoilers for who may be appearing in the next Avengers epic. ;)

If the Avengers were made in the 90s....

Some nice editing.

Van Dam as Captain America made me laugh.  :p

I love this. I love this so much. I never realized how much I needed Keanu Reeves as Doctor Strange.

i love how the Hasselhoff Nick Fury actually happened.

i mean, for real, they could have done a real '90s Marvel Movies supercut trailer with the actual '90s Marvel Movies.

1990's Captain America and '98's Blade.
The Punisher can squeak in being done in '89.
1994's The Fantastic Four could be included too.  it's unreleased but has been well bootlegged for years even before youtube.
throw in the made-for-TV movies and you get Hulk along with Thor, Dare Devil and baddie Wilson Fisk.
along with the above mentioned Nick Fury, there is also the Generation X mutants.
if they wanted to, stretch back a little further and grab Spider-man and Doctor Strange with an end trailer zinger Howard the Duck.

:D

I actually really, really like The Hoff's Nick Fury tv movie!!!  It is lots of fun and is rooted strongly in classic Marvel lore. I wish the DVD wasn't OOP, as I would love to have it in my collection.

If these rumors are true, then there will be two different cuts.

Spoiler alert: They aren't, and there won't.

There's a region 2 DVD that can be gotten pretty cheaply. Even if you don't have a region-free player, you could always use your computer to create a region-free backup disc.
