This is the discussion thread for Week of October 14, 2018 – New Fanedit Releases. Post away!

We have four new edits this week for your viewing pleasure.

Blade Runners by Wad Wardrobe - This edit mixes the original 1982 Blade Runner with 2017's Blade Runner 2049, making one compelling movie (within a reasonable running time). The focus of the film is about replicant's ability to love and have children / create life. The film cuts between Deckard's investigations and Officer K's. Footage from the original Blade Runner will be presented in black and white, to differentiate between past and future scenes.

X-Men: The Last Stand - Just About Jeanless by Zarius - I've been meaning to do an X-Men 3 edit for the longest time but struggled to find a means of making it unique. The result was a blissfully short piece I've labelled J.A.J, "Just About Jeanless". Yes, an X-3 cut with ALMOST no Jean Grey. Think of this as a "reality cut" of X-3, one where Jean did not come back from the dead, Scott didn't needlessly die, and the X-Men still had to put up a valiant struggle against Magneto\'s forces to preserve a child with the power to hold back mutations.

The Room: Torn Apart by TheUltimate - The Room has always provided a good time for those who are wiling to sit through it. But for those who don\'t want to experience 3 consecutive sex scenes in the first 3o minutes, I have cut all sections of this movie that could deemed 'NSFW'. So this cut is less focused on 'fixing' The Room, and more on making it ok to watch with friends and family. This isn\'t a total 'PG' cut, (there is still plenty of swearing, and the plot, however little there is, is still focused on infidelity), just a minor re-tooling to make it more approachable for those who want to join in on the fun.

Click: Fast Forward by Bobson Dugnutt - Michael Newman is a workaholic architect finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. But not everything lasts forever as Michael is about to find out, when the remote control begins to malfunction, causing Michael to deal with the consequences. Click: Fast Forward is an edit that aims to fast forward through all the “Sanderisms” that plague Adam Sandler’s films and subsequently this one. Eleven minutes of bad and unfunny jokes, writing, acting has been cut from the film, presenting a more focused story with real heart and stakes.
