I like the idea for either being a replacement cover for solid cases, or being able to see both sides in clear cases.
It would also eliminate the need to store, recycle or get rid of the original covers and would cut down on paper costs and trimming.
Has anyone ever tried this? How did it turn out?
Obviously it would take some alignment of the cover on a piece of paper, and at least the leading edge would need to be taped down to prevent jams/folding in printer rollers.
Would work best with stylized grayscale / black & white or a few colors with large whitespace.
Laser may have better success / less bleeding.
