For my extended edition of The Last Jedi I've included 8 deleted scenes (9 minutes total).

Luke has a moment
Poe: Not much of a sewer
It's kinda weird that you recorded that
Caretaker sizes up Rey
Caretaker village sequence
Canto Bight B-Roll footage (v2 update)
Extended fathier chase - sauna only
Rose says goodbye to fathier
Mega Destroyer incursion

There are a few unfinished scenes where the CGI is rough but I edited out as much as I could. What is left isn't intrusive enough to distract in my opinion.

*Thread Moved*

As per our new policy, fanedits of new releases must stay in the ideas or ITW area for 15 after an official physical release before they will be accepted into any of the Approved editor fanedit discussion forums or to be submitted to the academy/ifdb.
April 12th is your magic TLJ date.

For further information about this new policy see this thread.

Thanks! :)

Edit is now on ifdb. Thread moved.

Did you add the entire scene of Finn and BB-8? I noticed that the background is unfinished in the deleted scene when he first rolls up.

Also, did you add all the scenes of the mega incursion that included the gray suited BB-9E guy with the sticks and the motor unit and the unfinished ceiling? I prefer this scene to the theatrical, but I'm stuck on trying to finish the vfx.

I did include the entire scene of Finn and BB-8 but didn't notice the background until just now. Ha! I'd say it's rough but not rough enough to detract in my opinion. Good eye.

For the mega incursion deleted scene I removed the bit with BB-9E and "We're almost there" and left in the theatrical version that has those elements.

Were you able to use any of the Canto Bight B-Roll? I thought it looked neat for the most part, but don't know how viable it was to edit into the film.

Not much. I wanted to put it all in but the graphics were just too rough for the narrow alleyway bit. I did include the fathiers on the rooftop and sauna scene because the graphics were closer to finished and I love that little naked guy. I cropped, trimmed and shuffled a few shots here and there to remove the roughest looking parts. It's still a bit rough and a tad redundant with all the window crashing but it's fun.

OH, wait, I read that too fast...you said B-Roll. Duh, ooops. No, I didn't add any of that...but I agree very neat footage.

Well, I went ahead and added the B-Roll and 99% of it fits perfectly and really helps the scene! Now it doesn't seem so sudden when Finn says "we covered this whole casino". It's also fun because I find myself searching for the red plom bloom on everyone. I added a bunch of sound effects to give it atmosphere. Thanks for the idea! Now I have to update my IFDB listing...

For anyone that might be interested there is now a v3 of this edit. The updates are:

Removed BB-8's supports from "It's kinda weird that you recorded that" scene (didn't fix rough background in opening shot but did add a shadow under BB-8)

Minor tweaks to Canto Bight B-Roll audio

Moved Canto Bight bartender's wine glass pyramid to where it was intended right before fathiers crash through window (I had inserted it earlier to extend the music's full intro but I like it better where it's supposed to be)

Added one-eyed naked guy's squeal. I had overlooked it originally.

Added practical light fixtures to Canto Bight spa to make the rough CGI background feel a little more real. Also slightly  blurred background (these are on v2_1 but the blurring was overdone)

Removed low angle shot from Mega Destroyer Incursion that showed scaffolding in background. (didn't fix long panning shot with unfinished grey wall along the top)

I wrote "just sent you PM" specifically so no moderators would feel the need to respond. Guess I was wrong. Won't happen again.

"Sent you a PM" does the opposite of what you intended, it encourages others to similarly break the rules to also get a PM.  While I appreciate your intentions, just ignore posts like that and let us handle it.

Here's what I did with the B-Roll footage...
