Back to the Future: Bootstrap Edition:

Narratively, this is a bit of a mess, particularly in the final act. It's not something that could be easily experienced if you aren't already familiar with the films, but for the most part it's well edited and quite a lot of fun.

I loved how the 1955 segments were edited together - great work there. The opening scene with the train was also a great start. Towards the end though things just got confusing, and I was finding it hard to determine whether the editor was going for an extremely non-linear narrative or just majorly screwing with the time line. It soon became clear after I realised that Marty probably wasn't a time travelling dog (would have been a hell of a plot twist though).

All in all, a fun alternative to the BTTF franchise. A bit messy at points, but it's not a big issue if you're familiar with the story and characters.
