League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Strikes!, The:
As usual, a BionicBob fanedit that delivers enjoyment out of a very flawed movie.
While this adaptation differs greatly from the source material, this edit with the now patented Strikes! treatment makes a mediocre action film into a streamlined serial type experience. I wonder what Alan Moore would have to say if he ever watched this version, not that he ever will mind you.
A/V is excellent with a great 5.1 audio track and the Black and White / a bit of coloring gives the edit that serial feel that other offerings such as The Shadow Strikes or the Phantom Strikes had to great effect.
My only issue is still the aforementioned huge differences from the source material, but it cant be helped. I sadly have to deduct some points from Narrative and Enjoyment.
