Greetings my fellow faneditors, perusers, and everyone in between. I have post here today because I seem to be having trouble trying to source Logan from its theatrical disc in the Bluray. I was able to obtain the Noir version from its rightful disk, but now that I'm trying to obtain the deleted scenes from theatrical disc, it's not opening in MakeMKV, which is very odd to me. I'm not sure what is making it hang like it is since I take care of my disks (clean them after use and always put them back in their case). If anyone is having problems like this and possibly has a solution, please comment here. Thank you very much!

MakeMKV RARELY works for me.  Of my recent foray into HD editing, MakeMKV worked once out of 5 times (different movies).   It has since been uninstalled from my computer after the amount of sheer frustration it has caused.   While it's not the best, I've had consistent success with DVDFab 9.

MakeMKV doesn't work for me either. I've had success with MovieRescuer. There are certain movies that don't like to rip for me though, namely the X-Men movies.

I haven't had much trouble with MakeMKV and it has been the way I have been sourcing the films for my edits since I've started. I didn't have a problem with it until now. DVDFab 9? I'll have to look into it.

I have never heard of MovieRescuer until now. I'll have to look it up and see if it'll work better than MakeMKV.
