Cars 3

Well, after the car wreck (ahem) that was Cars 2, I guess they decided to do something different...?

Or maybe they thought, 'Hey, everybody makes a dark trailer, so let's do the same thing.''

I do not understand the point of the trailer being dark, it's like they did it for fashion.

By the way, Its not the premise of Planes 2?
 
i don't know why Pixar doesn't stop jerking around and make a Trains movie.
so we can have the classic comedy trifecta...  Plans, Trains and Automobiles.
 
I did. It's about a studio that didn't make Cars 3 and two dudes who didn't make Cars 3, as far as I can tell.

In the article, there is this section 

BH & RM: Well, by “Cars slate,” we meant that the franchise is a part of the Cars family – the look, etc. Yes, we heard that they were developing other films in the franchise, Boats and Trains. But, beyond seeing some visual development, we don’t know what, if any, of the films will be put into production. They may wait to see how well Planes performs.

I'm sure @A112 was referring to this when answering @baileym43 comment about Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Now that is taken care of, I was intrigued by that teaser trailer.  I'm in, as long as there is NO Tow Mater, I can't stand that character any longer.

My son will be overjoyed. He LOVES Cars 2. It's his favourite Pixar film....
 
Thanks. :) But Pixar obviously knew who they were aiming it at!
 
My girls love the first Cars and both Planes movies.  They thought Cars 2 was pretty meh.
