Is there a good clear version of the ping noise we hear during The Martian when the sol dates show up ?

Saw that but its not clear as noted in the comments thanks though its clearly 5.1 removal thingy lol
 
If you own the source, you could always rip it and try to isolate it in better clarity.

Just curious but what is that youtube clip not "clear of"?

Try entering the phrase "Sonar ping" into freesound.org and you get loads of stuff. This one is pretty close...

...if you adjusted the pitch a little using something like audacity, or combine a few different sonar soundfx from that site, you might be able to recreate it fairly accurately.
