Why are you arguing semantics? It's a moot point. I was pretty clear in that we didn't change it during this particular contest. 

I'm going to ask that everyone stop posting their opinions in this thread on how we organize the monthly polls. Have more to say? Then please check out the threads that Frink referenced here:

I'm not trying to be argumentive, but I was under the impression that the name change just happened which triggered my response. Also because all the awarded edits are still called "Fanedit of the Month Winner" on the site.
 
You have been asked to redirect this conversation to a more appropriate thread and you keep ignoring the request.  Knock it off.

This will be our last request to get back on-topic.  The next post that does not relate to THIS MONTH'S CONTEST will receive an infraction, and similar subsequent posts may result in a ban.
 
Is this poll still open? If not can I assume J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit a Maple Films edit by eldusto84 is the winner?
 
We got started on it a couple days late, so it ran a couple days into October to allow for enough votes. It's closed now, and eldusto84 is indeed the winner.
 
Thank you to all those who voted for J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit! I apologize for causing a bit of a kerfluffle during the voting process however. This was my first-ever fanedit so I'll use this as a learning experience for the next one.
