I just upgraded to Vegas Pro, and one of the things it includes is an audio processing program called Nectar Elements. Some research led me to understand that you can't open the program on its own, but rather you have to access it through Vegas...only I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone using this?

Bump. Anyone using this?

sounds juicy.

I have never used it. I don't really see why you would need to. You can do so much within Vegas itself (in fact, I record and mix my band's demos with Vegas). What is it supposed to be able to do that you can't do within Vegas directly?

Dunno. The documentation and information I was able to find didn't make it clear, so I was going to open it up and play around with it...and I can't figure out how to do so.

I kind of wonder if I'm on Candid Camera.

I don't watch porn on my PC, dummy.

Start at 16 minutes in case embed doesn't auto-skip to time.

Note that he mistakenly says "Insert Video Effect" but he clicks "Insert Audio Effect".

ohhhh, so its a mastering plugin. The way Frink had asked, I thought it was a separate editor. That is useful for music (I use other VST mastering plugins that I have found) but I'm not sure how useful it would be for general fanediting.

General fanediting maybe not, but maybe useful for some weird audio effects I could use in my edits.

Thanks Neg!

Happy to help. For future reference, I've found that almost any question I have about "How do I do XYZ in Sony Vegas" I'll be able to find a YouTube tutorial.
