This is one of those edits that takes a decent movie and makes it very good, in my opinion. I liked Iron Man 3 but thought it got bogged down in Tennessee. As that was the main focus of the edit, I was interested. I was able to preview this a couple months ago and it was really good. Some of the stuff I didn't think about was removed and made the film stronger. IM Mark 42 stuff with Pepper, the guys in the barfight, the TV truck guy, etc. Removing a bunch of these bits (and the armor fireworks at the end) help ground the story and keep it moving better. Technically, this was really well done. No seams that stood out to me. I rewound back on the flicker after Tony passes out (the first attack) but decided that the alternate shades of black were used intentionally to disorient the viewer (like the character). Overall, really good job on improving the movie; this replaces the theatrical cut for me.
