Watson and Sherlock look very thin on that front cover... Mrs Hudson hasn't been feeding them right.

yes,  removed the original lightning bolt and dog
then added a new dog and boy.
 
There is a visible and aliased border around the boy and dog, you have got to fix that. The graveyard is pretty blurry, as well as the background sky, especially in contrast with the HD lightning bolt.
 
Much better, although I don't like that gravestone's sarcastic attitude! ;)

- The green text could do with some rejigging. More central and a smaller "And" perhaps?

- A little shadow under the dogs back legs would make him look less floaty.
 
Good stuff! I agree with TM2YC about the shadow.
