Some Covers I have done.

well I had not at this point planned on adding that.
But I can still work on it, and wait till it is fully done.

Drive (2011)- final version- I hope.

^ Very nice layout and colour scheme. One of the images is squashed again though. Also that's an Alien "warrior" on the back cover, not a "Drone".

which image is squashed so i can fix it.
I had no clue bout "warrior" or "drone"
which one should be on the back?
I just did a image search for Alien 1979, and began picking out images to use.

The Alien looked like this...

...the Aliens looked like this...

...and the squashed image, is the one that is squashed. Ask yourself, aren't the two first Alien films in different aspect-ratios? So how come I've got screen shots from them both, inside boxes of the same size?

Even if we tell you which image this is, how will you fix it if you can't recognize what is a squashed picture?

I'm doing a cover for the first film, that is all.
I didn't realize I had screenshots from the first 2 films.
this is simply what came up when i searched Alien 1979.
But I see what you mean by the original Alien having the smooth top
and the Aliens- having pointy spikes across the top.
I honestly didn't want all pics on the back the exact same size- as I was just seeing how it looked
and filling in the extra space.
But still working on it.

I wasn't trying for every single image on the back to be the exact same size, so yes there's gonna be different proportions,
But I understand what you are saying.

so in all honesty, what should I add to the back,
I have gone and removed the 2 pics on the back with the different sizes.
Now i am left with big empty black area for now.

you can have photos with different dimensions on your cover, but for the love of all things holy, ALWAYS keep the lock aspect ratio button turned on. You can always crop them if they are too wide or narrow. This isn't a difficult concept to grasp.

I do grasp it. the images were already different sizes, but I messed up, and I correct it the next time.

I don't understand how this is an aswer to my question.
But nevermind (my question really was just an affirmation in disguise anyway...)

do the new versions look better.
I think I want to keep it like that and just adjust when the person finishes their edit
and I have info to type such as run time, etc.

Better :)... but now I notice that the "D" and "O" in "VIDEO" on the spine are not right. It's a small detail but it's there.

I will look back at it, but all I changed was deleted the 2 back pics and added 1 new pic.
Ok I see what you are saying, but that was like that to begin with, I am betting.
