• Most new users don't bother reading our rules. Here's the one that is ignored almost immediately upon signup: DO NOT ASK FOR FANEDIT LINKS PUBLICLY. First, read the FAQ. Seriously. What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.

Not according to Blu-Ray.com. Could be a typo and he meant Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp.

I thought the GOUT releases were bootlegs? What's the difference the GOUT releases and the ones you linked to?

Both DVDs have

  • Disc 2:
  • **Widescreen Feature (For Both Versions Full Screen and Widescreen) - original theatrical movie version in dolby 2.0 surround

GOUT = George's Original Unaltered Theatrical version

There have been preservations/restorations of those DVDs which enhance picture and audio quality. Dark Jedi's is an example. http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/to...T-POST-FOR-INFO-AND-AVAILABILITY/topic/10550/

So, if you wanted to use Dark Jedi's version for a fanedit you would need to legally own the GOUT DVDs.

Make sense now?

Whats a dvd?

It's the thing you use to make a fanedit when you don't want your editor program to go super slow each time you add a filter on it.

I always wondered what GOUT stood for. Lucas has pissed me off for his refusal to release the OT in their OUT versions, and then he pissed me off even more by agreeing to release them, but doing so with really shitty transfers, so I boycotted him a long time ago. I can't even remember the last time I saw any of the SW films. If I'm not mistaken the last SW film I saw was Episode 3, and that was when it was released on DVD.

Someone really needs to have a long long conversation with Lucas.

That would be pointless. He's a word spinner.
