Right now it's at about 1.25$ or so Canadian for every 1$ US but not too long ago, I think during the summer, the Canadian dollar was actually worth slightly more than the US dollar iirc. If it wasn't worth more the difference was very little. I think you may be thinking about the British Pound though when you 1:2.

Friday The 13th Part 2 (Deluxe Edition)
Friday The 13th Part 3 (3D Deluxe Edition)
His Name Was Jason

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the first F13 today because the guy hadn't ordered enough copies but he still had copies of the other 2 and the documentary on the series. I guess I'll have to check out Best Buy or HMV on Tuesday when they're officially released. Also the His Name Was Jason documentary includes a mini-poster, which looks just like the cover of the DVD and a 5$ off certificate to go see the new version of Friday The 13th. It's somewhat odd because normally if a DVD comes with movie money it's for 10$. I guess it's possible that this is the US edition and not the Canadian one.

It's been a while since I picked up any DVD's but I just picked up Trailer Park Of Terror and the remake of Day Of The Dead today at Blockbuster in the 2/16$ previously viewed section. And looking at my last post I guess I forgot to add another one because I did end up picking up the Friday The 13th (Uncut) disc as well as Se7en (Platinum Series) and the first season of Tru Calling the following week.

I got all four Tremors movies in a single box for my friend's birthday!

For myself, the most recent DVD would be The Terminal for $4. It is one of my favorite films. I almost fully identify with Victor.

4 Tremors movies!! lol. I hadn't realized there were that many. The second one was a major turd; I can't imagine what parts 3 and 4 were like. hahaha

Good Advice
The Pink Panther (remake)
Blindness (2-disc)

The Pink Panther was only 6$ at HMV and it came with a 10$ movie pass to see the new one in theatres. So they were basically giving it away.

Tremors 3 upped the ridiculous to a new level of stupid, so it was funny again. Tremors 4 was... a SciFi Channel original movie (I accidentally caught the premier--don't know how) taking place in the "old west" version of Perfection.

And Bert... isn't a badass... He can't even handle weapons...
It was truly awful.

Just picked up the DVD release of the Swedish vampire film Let The Right One In, which is one of the best movies I saw last year (and beats the everloving sh*t out of that god-awful Twilight  )

City of God, for about £3

I was gonna get Gomorrah but after seeing it, it didn't float my boat. It was good, but claims that it's as good as City of God are exaggerations in my opinion.

Picked up the following DVD previously viewed from Blockbuster:

Lower Learning
Shutter (remake)
Untraceable

Picked up the following Blu-Ray's brand new:

Burn After Reading
Hell Ride

Strangely enough Burn After Reading was cheaper brand new (16.99$) than it was previously viewed (19.99$).

Half of it is for resale, actually, to pay for the other half. At least that's the plan.

Anyone looking for Star Trek box sets? :D

Damn! I'd love to see a list of what you bought. I might be interested in buying some from you.

Decided to hit CD Warehouse tonight, haven't been there since about October/November, and I really lucked out. I was looking through their previously viewed DVD's and found "World Traveler" starring Julianne Moore and Billy Crudup for 7.99$. I've never seen that for sale anywhere before so I quickly grabbed it. I also found "The Toxic Avenger Part II" for 9.99$ and grabbed it because it was the only Toxic Avenger movie I didn't already have. Lastly I hit the jackpot when I found the Ultimate Edition of "Terminator 2: Judgement Day". I have been after that DVD for years but it went out of print and has been impossible to find since they released the Extremem Edition of T2. The Ultimate Edition has better, and more iirc, extras than the Extreme Edition and it was only 9.99$, there was no way I was leaving without it. I had to triple check to make sure I was seeing correctly because I never thought I'd find it.
