Indiana Jones trilogy

It certainly looks better on DVD than it did on a commercial interrupted, 8 hour, EP VHS tape.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

One of the better DVD transfers I've seen in a while :D
 
They came on the BBC Three a few weeks ago in a nice new HD transfer, in 2.35:1 (and on BBC HD if I remember correctly)


and then a few weeks later (in fact, Last Crusade was last Sunday) cropped to 1.33:1.

I ended up paying (for both of those) about the amount in Canada (well, a bit more since there is a 17% total sales tax on stuff, plus the exchange rate) that I would have paid in the US for Fifth Element alone. Sweet deals.

Where in Canada did you buy them? Because here in Ontario we only have 13% tax (5% GST and 8% PST).

I don't have a receipt handy, but I think it was 10 and 7% GST and PST, respectively.
