Last DVD, Blu-Ray, UHD or Digital you purchased?

i'm gonna hope that with criterion adopting an HD format (bluray is the only format that i've heard mentioned and is most probable right now) that they are able to re-release many of these "laserdisc transfer to DVD" items in their catalog soon.

but isnt that like making a music-disc of mp3-files and/or making a dvd with old vhs-sources?

or making a 7.1 mix from an old vinyl...and so on...

no they'll get the rights to redistribute the sources (movies, supplements, etc.) and do a complete remaster!

i understand that they already have many of their titles mastered in HD (and still have rights to distribute) and will pop 'em out ASAP after they decide on a format.

aha, ok

yeah its the one and only plus point to a format change.

EDIT: ok i know that sounds silly but you know what i mean. werd.

Ocean's Thirteen

I'm sad that only the three disk sets of the HD DVD/Blu-Ray versions get the commentary.

Before that, the copy of Blade Runner: The Final Cut in the 5 DVD super set (without the silly briefcase) that I pre-ordered overseas for the PAL version finally showed up. (Amazon.co.uk FanEdit.org credit hopefully applied with a pre-order too)

The special feature set is fantastic, and the film itself is nearly perfect.

Resident Evil: Extinction.

Problem is...I've got this fucking glue from the price sticker on the sleeve. Gonna have to get that off...

Dust Devil final Cut
