Wait, she doesn't take her clothes off? But the MPAA reasons listed on the back for the R rating promises nudity, and sexuality. Have I been lied to? :-(

MrSkin says there is a brief nip slip. There may be other uncredited strippers nude that MrSkin didn't care to list out.

Just bought The Incredible Mr. Limpet on Bluray. I was very impressed by the picture quality, as live action scenes look like they were shot yesterday. The cartoon animation looks a bit fuzzier, though but not too bad. Allways enjoyed this film as a kid, especially since it has Don Knotts.

And if you want to see LiLo play the only stripper known to man to NOT take off her clothes, you'll have a blast.

*cough*Jessica Alba, Sin City *cough*

Oh yeah. I forgot about that one cuz of the other nudity in it.

I just popped in "I Know Who Killed Me" to get the MPAA number and decided to check out the "extended strip dance scene" and it's rather disappointing. A little sexy in parts, but no nudity from Lindsay. Also, it's two separate strip scenes separated by a shot of Lindsay giving a line in I don't know where. What really ruins the scene isn't the lack of any nudity, it's the audio. Both songs are instrumental. The first is techno-ish and the second is more rock-ish, but mixed with keyboards. The music and the dancing don't go together either because she's dancing "seductively" but the musical choices indicate that she should be dancing faster, and sluttier. And the worse thing is is that the music is dubbed over the scene instead of having the music be played in the club. It makes the whole thing feel very low budget. Kinda like when you watch a porn clip on a tube site and the person removed the audio and dubbed some really shitty song over it. I fucking hate when they do that.

I generally manage Faster and Sluttier.

Mission: Impossible The Complete Series (including the 1988/89 sequel series)

Me so happy! :)

I'm watching season one of Star Trek the Next Generation on Blu-Ray.

The series was originally shot on film. But it was composited on standard definition tape. They are recreating the series by re-scanning all of the film elements and re-compositing in HD. Its a monumental task just to bring a series to Blu-Ray, and I am so glad that they are doing it. They are being very faithful to the original version, and several people involved in the project worked on the show in the past.

Bottom line: It looks 10 times better than ever before. :)

Here's a link to a Trekkie review with more details. http://tng.trekcore.com/bluray/s1review.html

Just picked up Paranormal Activity 4 on Blu-Ray combo pack. And for the first they've included both the theatrical and extended cuts on the DVD as well. Technically the first film had both, but the only difference was an alternate ending so I don't think that should really count. If they wanted to include a real extended cut they should have included the Festival Cut instead. There's also nearly 30 minutes worth of deleted scenes included, but alas it's only on the Blu-Ray.

I picked up the 25th Anniversary Blu-ray DIE HARD collection today for 30 bucks. :)

Is that the new one with the bonus disc for "A Good Day To Die Hard"?

It is I believe the newest dvd collection, but there is no extra slot in it for the upcoming sequel. But it does come with a bonus dvd of all new features entitled Decoding Die Hard.

That's the one I was referring to. I didn't mean that there was an extra slot in it for the new film, but that it included a bonus disc with featurettes and such for the new film. Are there any new extras for the four films or should I stick with my 2-disc DVD editions of all 4 films?

I think you are safe to stick with the editions you already have. The Decoding Die Hard is entertaining but nothing new is really revealed. It is more of a big patting each other on the back kind of feature. Plus, Bruce Willis did not participate in any of the new features. Myself, this is an excellent buy since I still only had Die Hard 1 and 2 on VHS.... LOL!
