Hey guys! I came across this thread: http://www.fanedit.org/forums/showth...ght=virtualdub
...where ThrowgnCpr explains how to convert MKV to AVI. He mentions that AVIs that are compressed with Lagarith don't carry anamorphic flags so the image might look stretched. The solution would be to change the media properties of the timeline in the video editor.
However, I imported the stretched converted AVI into Premiere and can't seem to find the right settings to change in order to have a properly displayed video. I know how to do it in Vegas, but for some reason, every setting change doesn't correct the ratio.
Anybody know how to achieve this in Premiere? Thanks!
