Hey guys, been a while since I've been super-active (I've been lurking, though!). I wanted to share an up and coming film project with you guys from my friend Kalen Rixon. It's called Tartarus, and his hope is to bring sci-fi back to its roots. He's been working hard with the writer to create a living universe. On-board are Tahmoh Penikett, Amy Scott, and Tom Konkle. He's looking to make a 17 minute short for a festival run, which will hopefully get picked up for a feature-length production.

I won't go too far into the details, as those can be found at the above links... but if you could, spread the word. I was instantly taken in by Kalen's vision, as I'm hoping a few of you are too - at least enough to get the word out via any movie buff sites you're a part of, Facebook, twitter - wherever. They're at 40% of their goal right now, with a little over a month left.
Mods, if this is in the wrong place (or not allowed), I understand if this gets moved or deleted. Just trying to help out a buddy of mine from a site I know is dedicated to the love of movies.
