^lol That Cyclops is even in this is a substantial upgrade from how he's been treated in most of the films. At least this is some good fun.

^Pretty sure M. Night Shyamalan remade that film. ;)

For anyone wondering when Scorsese is finally going to work with DeNiro and DiCaprio, he already did. Kinda.
...okay, it's just a casino commercial, but still.

Another genuinely great documentary up free on Warner Brothers' channel:
This is really a fantastic weaving together of early Superman history up until Superman Returns. I would've liked to see them carry forward and talk about why that movie mis-stepped a bit, and then look at the new Man of Steel "version" of Superman, but ah well. It also would've been great for them to dive into Superman- The Animated Series more, as that remains the absolute best portrayal of the character to me. But those quibbles aside, this is really a great watch for even a casual fan.

I still haven't seen Free Solo, but honestly I feel like this short kind of encapsulated it, plus some!

^ 'Free Solo' is good but I was disappointed that it didn't include much info on how it was filmed. That VF video (and others they did) filled in a lot of missing pieces. A good companion piece.

There's a fanedit of Laurel & Hardy's last film on youtube. Atoll; K I don't want to link because I'm not sure if the FE rules apply to a film that is Public Domain.

If it’s on YouTube it’s fine.

Great short film from the writer/director team of Hallo, Panda and Nina Forever. These British actors haven't really broken out in America yet, but I thought they were great here. I could easily have seen this fleshed out into a whole movie.

If anyone liked the film Bumblebee, here's a pretty good quality commercial bonus...

Interesting editing possibility to improve old stop-motion films. Now I'm thinking about fanediting possibilities for Jason and the Argonauts!

That looks way better than I expected it to. Still has that feeling of the era that replacing with CGI would lose, but more pleasant to watch.

Hmm... I can't decide. I'm a big Harryhausen fan, and I think some of the charm is because of the herky-jerky motions. Some of those shots almost look too good (like the flying imps) and I think would distract me like bad CGI would because they stand out too much. Crazy technology though!

I just finished watching this series, the whole of which is available for free on Youtube. It was apparently aired on Canadian TV at the end of the '90s, and I guess they can have nudity and swearing? Anyway, it's well-worth watching all the way through if you're a Phillip K. Dick fan. I'd say it's about
30% Total Recall
40% Blade Runner
30% generic future cop/buddy cop show
